    this is personally too sweet for my tastes

    i find this too sweet and prefer the unsweetened version. this company has been really nice to deal with, great customer service

    We’re genuinely sorry we missed the mark for you this time. When it comes to sweetness, our Masala Chai is the sweetest chai we offer, just the way our founder’s grandmother, Kashi, made. We know that’s not everyone’s cup of tea, so we also offer our Unsweetened Masala, as well as our Regular and Decaf Slow Brew varieties, as unsweetened options, ready and waiting.

    And you are absolutely correct – while all other ingredients in our Quick Brew Masala Chai varieties are certified organic, the black tea is not. We understand how our website may have created confusion, and we greatly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We have made the necessary changes to make things clearer.

    Perfect Chai

    It's been a long mission finding the perfect chai recipe. It has the perfect amount of spices and sugar. It's hard not to use the word "perfect" but speaking for myself personally, it has been many years since I had the perfect chai. It's not "Americanized" which makes it so awesome and original. I stock up on my orders because it's my morning drink after water when I wake up. Thank you so much Tipu for bringing this recipe to the market. I am a permanent customer now until this chai disappears which I hope it never does!

    Amazing, perfect balance of spice and sweet!

    Delicious chai! I tried this chai for the first time last month in a coffee shop in Jacksonville, OR. I ended up going back to the coffee shop later in the day to ask what kind of chai they used and they told me, Tipu’s. I placed an order to get some of my own as soon as I got home!! Great spice blend and sweetness level.

    I've been on the hunt for Tipu's chai for 22 years, since I studied in Missoula in 2002 and would drink the most amazing creamy chai at Tipu's Tiger behind the gas station by the Higgins Bridge. It was the yardstick with which I measured future chai, and usually I was disappointed, except for a spice blend from the 8-11 corner store in Bhutan. In 2024 I came back to Missoula with my son for the arctic freezing weather, and stopped for the best molasses spice cookie at Bernice's Bakery, which I'd also missed, and discovered that while Tipu's Tiger is long closed, Tipu's Chai still lives - and better yet, can be ordered to my door in the Appalachian mountains where I stir it with a chopstick and revive my spirits while avoiding the news for a moment before keeping on fighting the good fight. Thanks, Tipu's, for setting the bar high in a lifelong chai hunt, and for bringing it home again in the 2020s. I raise my mug to you!

    My Favorite Chai!

    Most other chais are too sweet. Tipu’s is the perfect blend of sweetness and bold spice. Bonus points from being from my home state! <3
